From first idea to final master

Learn the whole process. Then get time to make it yours.

Frenchy Graham's Urban Music Resource Center is a pilot built to remove the cost and access barriers that keep promising creators out of professional spaces. It also serves as a supportive access and prevention program for youth who are at risk or facing barriers.

Participants gain a safe creative outlet, positive mentorship, practical skills, and hands-on access to equipment while learning how music moves from an early idea through writing, beat selection, production, recording, mixing, and mastering. Each participant also receives dedicated studio time at no cost.

Who the pilot serves

Passion is the starting point.

The pilot is designed for youth who are at risk or facing financial, social, or environmental barriers, as well as low-income Clarke County residents who are serious about music but do not have reliable access to a studio, equipment, mentorship, or professional guidance.

By creating a welcoming place to learn and make original work, the program helps young people build confidence, develop practical creative skills, connect with supportive adults, and see new possibilities for themselves.

Building toward independence

A community program with its own future.

The Urban Music Resource Center is currently a pilot initiative incubated by 5X Culture Shift Media Group. It is being developed as a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit and will operate independently once federal tax-exempt determination is received.

Until then, 5X Culture Shift provides the creative home, studio access, and operational support needed to test the model and serve a limited number of participants responsibly.
